Start page does not close in MDI mode within Developer Workbench

Symptoms

Switching from tabbed document mode to MDI mode prevents the Start page window from being able to close and results in a walkback window.

The tabbed view property for managing the window state is null when the window is in MDI mode.

Fixed in Developer Workbench 2011 build 4.0.14.0.
