SAPI 5 Dialogs not running as expected

Symptoms

ShowDialog CDAudioProperties (recognition only) and CDAudioVolume do not run consistently.

Cause

SAPI 5 AudioProperties (recognition only) and AudioVolume dialogs only run for the system default audio device. You can set the system default audio device via the SAPI 5 speech control panel or via system audio control panel. If you set the CNPDeviceID property and it is not the system default device, the dialogs do not launch properly.

Status

ShowDialog modified to always display SAPI 5 AudioProperties (recognition only) and AudioVolume dialogs with system default audio settings. Fixed in SpeechKit 4 build 4.0.124.0.
