Symptoms

Vocalizer synthesis options not reset to default from previous request options. For example, requesting default synthesis (i.e., sentence by sentence) after a word by word request can result in a word by word synthesis result.

Cause

If no options are requested (i.e., VE_DEFAULT), then no playback settings are requested on the Vocalizer instance.

Status

Fixed in SpeechKit 9 build 9.0.1.1.
