Symptoms

I have VB 6 and Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred 3.01. I cannot get the dictate demo to run. The window where you select a speech Rec engine has no listings. Hitting ok anyway gives you an ACL format error.

Cause

No engine modes have registered as providing SAPI interfaces. Contact Dragon support to obtain the information to add to the system registry.

You can also install SAPI Suite that will provide SAPI compliant engines.

Status

Dragon now automatically registers SAPI interfaces for their engines as of release 3.5 and higher.
