Character conversion for ViaVoice defaults to system locale

Symptoms

ViaVoice can support multiple languages on the same system. However, if the locale is not set to the same as the user's language, the character conversion from ANSI to UNICODE is incorrect.

Cause

The codepage for character conversion defaults to the locale of the current thread not the ViaVoice session (task) user language.

Status

Fixed in SpeechKit 4 build 4.0.118.0.
