Synchronous TTS playback fails on multithreaded application

Symptoms

Synthesizing text synchronously on multiple threads fails when using multiple playback styles.

Cause

The PRB P020501 modification in Build 4.0.110.0 didn't take into account the playback style as a bit flag. When multiple playback styles are used, synchronous requests run asynchronously.

Status

Fixed in SpeechKit 4 build 4.0.116.0.
