Saving audio to file on StartRecording fails with return code

Symptoms

Saving audio to a file when recognizing using the StartRecording method fails with a return code.

Cause

Changes introduced with PRB P020405 to support switching back and forth between live microphone recognition and audio file recognition could generate an audio object initialization error. The error can be ignored.

In ActiveX, since the error is returned as an HRESULT exception, unless the application traps or ignores the error, the application request fails.

Status

Fixed in SpeechKit 4 build 4.0.100.0.
