Stop, pause, and resume playbacks fail with Vocalizer voices

Symptoms

StopPlayback, PausePlayback, and ResumePlayback does not affect the text-to-speech playback for Nuance Vocalizer voices. The synthesis playback continues and a CCAPIError event is fired.

Cause

The Vocalizer API is returning an error when attempting to stop, pause, or resume synthesis when synthesis is already complete. The Vocalizer API is responsible for synthesizing the text and generating the audio. The ChantTTS class is responsible for managing the audio playback. Since an API error occurred, the result was returned without further processing.

Status

Fixed in SpeechKit build 7.0.7.0.
