Symptoms

Using StartRecording with output audio format CAText to save dictation to file fails when using either IBM ViaVoice or Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

Cause

For IBM ViaVoice (CEMSAPI), a premature utterance end condition cleared the queued request. For Dragon NaturallySpeaking (CEDGN4SR), the file save operations needed to process before recognition result processing.

Status

Fixed in SpeechKit 4 build 4.0.76.0.
