When you create a .NET application project with Visual Studio 2008 or older, you select the target .NET Framework from the dropdown list on the project create dialog.
With Visual Studio 2010, you can change the target framework on the project properties pages.
Chant component libraries are compiled for current .NET Frameworks: V2, V3, V4, and Compact Frameworks: V2 and V3. You add a reference from the applicable Chant library folder that matches your application framework.
If you change the target framework for your application, simply delete the references to the Chant libraries and add them again from the applicable library folder.
