Feature Summary

Chant Developer Workbench 2007 is a new interactive toolset for developing software that speaks and listens with GrammarKit 2 , LexiconKit 2 , ProfileKit 2 , SpeechKit 5 , and VoiceMarkupKit 2 .

It's a completely new environment built from the ground up to replace the 2002 edition. Where the 2002 edition was comprised of 4 separate tools, the 2007 edition is single interactive toolset that enables you to manage grammars, lexicons, profiles, audio devices, recognizers, synthesizers, and TTS Markup all within the same environment. You can easily switch from compiling grammars and testing recognition, to marking up text and synthesizing speech.

In addition, where the 2002 edition tools supported SAPI 5 only, the 2007 edition supports many speech APIs because it uses the Chant Win32 Developer Editions.

Chant Developer Workbench 2007 provides a powerful new editor with all the great features you need to be productive and a command line window for executing methods interactively with the Chant Win32 Developer Edition component libraries.

A license for Chant Developer Workbench 2007 includes a license to use all 5 Win32 Developer Editions: GrammarKit 2 , LexiconKit 2 , ProfileKit 2 , SpeechKit 5 , and VoiceMarkupKit 2 . It also includes a year of complimentary upgrades for any new versions released. If you prefer to license a specific Chant Win32 Developer Edition, you may still use the Chant Developer Workbench 2007 with that Chant Win32 Developer Edition.
