FAQ: Why does Chant GrammarKit create .gmk files when SAPI 5 grammars are xml?

The default file type is .gmk to associate grammars created with Chant GrammarKit with the program. This way you can double click the file to launch the program.

There are no restrictions for the file names. You can save the file as any type of file you like. You may open a grammar file with any name format you like.
