No. Chant Developer Workbench programs enable to you create, edit, test, and deploy, SAPI 5 grammars, lexicons, profiles, and TTS markup. Chant SpeechKit is not required. The programs run as stand alone utilities on your development system. You deploy the grammars, lexicons, profiles, and TTS markup you create with these tools with your speech enabled applications. Applications that use these grammars, lexicons, profiles, and TTS markup can be written using SAPI 5 SDK classes or SpeechKit components.
