Download the latest builds of Chant Developer Workbench comprehensive development and testing environment for working with speech and natural user interface technology.
Tools and Libraries are in one installation file and samples are in another. The Windows installation files include tools, libraries, and samples for Android, Windows, and cross platform application development. The macOS installation files include libraries and samples for iOS and macOS application development.
If you are evaluating, be sure to request 30-day evaluation credentials required to run the software. For licensed users, credentials are under the Registration tab on your Support dashboard.
Step 1 - Download Chant Developer Workbench Tools, Libraries, and Samples

Step 2 - Register for Evaluation Credentials
The Chant Developer Workbench tools and libraries require credentials to run on your development system where you install the software. If you are evalutating, request 30-day evaluation credentials.
To generate evaluation credentials, you need an online support account with a valid email address. The evaluation credentials will work with all tools, libraries and samples.

- Extract the installer(s) from the downloaded compressed file(s).
- Run the installer(s) downloaded in Step 1.
- Review and agree with the license and follow the install wizard prompts to complete the installation(s); or
- Cancel the installation and delete the extracted and downloaded files.
- Extract the libraries and samples from the downloaded compressed file(s).
Step 4 – Locate Tools, Libraries, Samples, and Documentation
- Launch the Developer Workbench tools from the Chant Developer Workbench 2025 start menu.
- Locate libraries installed to the default location Program Files\Chant\product name.
- Locate sample application projects installed at the default location Documents\Chant\product name.
- Configure the samples by setting the credentials property value before compiling and running.
- The Chant Product Guides may be found online under Support/Documentation and viewed in a browser launched from the Developer Workbench Help->View Help menu item.
- Locate libraries extracted from the downloaded compressed file: Chant\product name\OBjective-C and Chant\product name\Swift.
- Locate sample application projects extracted from the downloaded compressed file: Chant\product name\iOS and Chant\product name\macOS.
- Configure the samples by setting the credentials property value before compiling and running.
- The Chant Product Guides may be found online under Support/Documentation.
Step 5 – Configure Tools
Configure the Developer Workbench by updating the CDW Credentials property and speech SDK properties:
- Launch Chant Developer Workbench 2025 from the start menu or run cdw.exe from Program Files\Chant\Developer Workbench 2025.
- Select the View-Options menu item.
- Click on the Credentials node and enter your evaluation credentials in CDW Credentials field or licensed credentials in the applicable product license field.
- Optionally, click on the Environment Settings node and set paths to speech SDK libraries.
