Create New Grammar

A speech recognition grammar is a collection of rules comprised of words and phrases to be recognized from speech. The steps to create a grammar with Chant GrammarKit are as follows:

1. Select the Start Page tab and click on the image of the desired grammar type or select the File - New menu item or click the Standard toolbar button and select a grammar type to create one in a document window.
2. Save your new grammar to a file by selecting the File - Save menu item or click the Standard toolbar button.

A grammar consists of one or more rule elements. You must add at least one valid rule element to a grammar.
