Product Registration

If you are evaluating Chant Software, you do not need to register for credentials. Evaluatuion credentials may be obtained on the downloads page to use the Chant Developer Workbench IDE and class libraries for 30 days.

Once you have purchased a license and obtained a registration number, you need to register your license for credentials to unlock the software.

Register your Chant software license to obtain credentials with the following steps:

1. Establish an Internet connection.
2. Go to the product registration home page: www.chant.net/support/registration
3. Login if you have a User ID and password or click the new user link and create one.
4. Enter your registration number you received when you purchased your license.
5. Click the Activate License button.
6. Copy your credentials to set in your code and in the Chant Developer Workbench.

Credentials

Once you have credentials, set the Credentials value in the Chant Developer Workbench IDE:

1. Select the View Options... menu item;
2. Select the Credentials node under Environment;
3. Enter your Credentials in the applicable product field (set Chant Developer Workbench for evaluation); and
4. Click the save button or close the Options tab to save your updates.

Set the credential value in your application code to unlock the Chant class libraries at runtime using the SetCredentials method.
