New component library simplifies administering speech recognition profiles

Los Angeles, California, October 8, 2007—Chant Inc., the leading independent software vendor of speech technology tools, announced today general availability of ProfileKit 2, a new component library that enables applications to administer speaker profiles for more accurate speech recognition.

Now developers have the ability to quickly and easily launch speaker training and backup and restore the training data—speaker profile. ProfileKit 2 provides a common application interface for administering speaker profiles for Dragon NaturallySpeaking, IBM ViaVoice, Microsoft SAPI 4, and Microsoft SAPI 5 speech recognizers.
