Symptoms
Enabling speech recognition grammars with semantic interpretation markup fail for Windows apps.
Cause
Microsoft supports semantic interpretation markup in the following SpeechAPIs: Microsoft SAPI 5, Microsoft Speech Platform, Microsoft .NET System.Speech, and Microsoft .NET Microsoft.Speech.
SpeechKit support for the updated COM class interface for Microsoft SAPI 5 and Microsoft Speech Platform to be able to load the grammar syntax was missing. Microsoft .NET System.Speech, and Microsoft .NET Microsoft.Speech loaded the syntax without problems.
Status
Fixed in SpeechKit build 12.0.1.0, SpeechManager build 3.0.1.0, and VoiceXMLKit build 6.0.1.0.
Component Formats Impacted
SpeechKit CDLL, Java, and .NET Windows class libraries.
