Summary
Chant credentials processing was optimized when adding support for subscription licensing.
More Information
The Chant product libraries unlock using a single credentials string that is updated to recognize subscription licensing.
Evaluation credentials enable Chant software usage for 30 days. To continue to use any Chant software product after 30 days, you must purchase a license for the software or stop using the software and remove it from your system.
The Chant software license is a single end-user license. Each developer who installs and uses Chant software to develop applications must have their own license.
It is perpetual and gives you the right to construct executable applications that use the applicable class libraries and distribute them with executable applications without royalty obligations to Chant.
A one-year subscription provides one year of free upgrades, including bug fixes and new features, and one year of support.
Before a subscription expires, purchase another subscription to receive another year of updates and support. If you choose not to renew, you can continue using the last version you are licensed to use.
The Chant Developer Workbench license includes Audio Search, GrammarKit, KinesicsKit, LexiconKit, ProfileKit, SpeechKit, Speech Manager, Talk&Listen, VoiceMarkupKit, and VoiceXMLKit class libraries. One credentials string unlocks usage of all these products.
Alternatively, GrammarKit, KinesicsKit, LexiconKit, ProfileKit, SpeechKit, VoiceMarkupKit, and VoiceXMLKit class libraries may be licensed independently.
You may purchase a Chant software license subscription online at the Chant store or through your preferred software reseller.
