What is the Chant Developer Workbench class library?

The Chant Developer Workbench class library is a new internal class library developed by Chant to optimize how the component libraries interface with speech APIs.

This enables the Chant component libraries to share and benefit from optimizations implemented in common routines that call low-level speech API functions.

GrammarKit, LexiconKit, ProfileKit, SpeechKit, and VoiceMarkupKit all use the Chant Developer Workbench class library to invoke speech API functions.
