Administering Speaker Profiles with ProfileKit
A speaker is an end user of a speech recognition system (i.e., recognizer). A recognizer maintains audio data associated with an individual speaker to enhance its ability to perform speech recognition more acurately.
Chant ProfileKit handles the complexities of managing speaker profiles. This allows applications to enhance the quality of speech recognition and offer administrative features for maintaining speaker profiles.
Recognizers have their own formats for speaker profiles. Some provide training dialogs with which to perform speaker training. In addition to launching recognizer-supplied training dialogs, ProfileKit provides custom training options for training speaker profiles.
ProfileKit supports the following recognizers and profile formats:
Speech API | Training Dialogs | Custom Training |
---|---|---|
Microsoft SAPI 5 | Yes | Yes |
Microsoft Speech Platform | Yes | Yes |
Nuance Dragon NaturallySpeaking | Yes | No |
