PRB: CorrectWords not accepting alternate words as a correction for SAPI 5 recognition result

Symptoms

The correctwords parameter is ignored for SAPI 5 recognition result corrections. It currently only supports correcting by selecting an alternate.

Cause

This is by design. SAPI 5.1 only supports correction via alternate selection. SAPI 5.3 (Vista) introduces an option to override the alternates and supply a correction.

Status

Fixed in SpeechKit build 6.0.7.0 for SAPI 5.3 (Vista) and SAPI 5.4 (Windows 7).
